Rigs & Roads explores the history of trucking and travel in northeastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania during the first half of the twentieth century.  It aims to pay homage to the companies and the drivers who supported the American economy, and to the service workers who supported the trucking and travel industries.

Are you a retired truck driver who has a story to tell?  Did you own or manage a small trucking firm in Ohio or Pennsylvania?  Were you ever a waitress serving sandwiches and pie at a family-owned diner?  Do you remember the names and locations of old truck stops?  Are you able to share the best places to enjoy a good night’s sleep along U.S. Route 322 or U.S. Route 19?

Rigs & Roads would like to tell your story!  Please email Jennifer at rigsandroads @ gmail.com with your contact information.
